1. Purpose
This policy defines what constitutes acceptable and prohibited use of the AJVoiceAI platform. All tenants must comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited activities
You must not use the platform to:
- Make unsolicited calls without specific prior written consent (spam)
- Conduct scams, fraud, or deceptive practices
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate call recipients
- Deliberately call numbers registered on the TPS or CTPS
- Call outside Ofcom-permitted hours (before 8am or after 9pm)
- Impersonate government agencies, emergency services, or other organisations
- Record calls without informing the recipient
- Process special category data (health, political opinions, etc.) without explicit consent
- Circumvent platform safeguards or rate limits
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorisation
3. Consent requirements
Before uploading contacts to the platform, you must have:
- Specific consent for automated voice calls (general marketing consent is not sufficient under PECR)
- Documentation of when and how consent was obtained
- A clear record of the exact wording shown to the person at the time of consent
4. Content standards
AI call scripts must:
- Clearly identify your business name at the start of the call
- Provide a contact address or freephone number
- Not contain misleading or false information
- Offer the recipient an opportunity to opt out
5. Enforcement
- We monitor platform usage for compliance with this policy
- We reserve the right to suspend your account immediately if we detect violations
- Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination
- We may report suspected criminal activity to the relevant authorities
